# STATUS CARD

Emit this at the end of every session, and at the end of the whole thing.

Fill in every bracket with their real details. A card with placeholders left in
it is worse than no card, because it will not work when they paste it back.

Give it to them inside a code block so it copies cleanly.

**Say what it is for, and be clear it is not a thing to act on now.** The card is
insurance. If they are carrying straight on with you in this chat, they should
ignore it. One line, something like: "Park this somewhere. You do not need it
right now, we are carrying on. It is only for if you close this and come back
another day."

Never present the card as the next instruction. Present it, then immediately say
what happens next, and if they are continuing, go straight into the next step.

## RULES FOR THE CARD

- Tick only what passed its proof gate. Never tick something because they said
  they did it.
- The outstanding section is the important one. If a connection failed, or Cowork
was not available to them, or they declined something, write it down. Whoever
picks this up later needs to know.
- Keep it short enough to paste without scrolling. If it is getting long, cut the
  detail and keep the checkboxes.
- The card never ends a turn. After you hand it over, say what is next. If they
are continuing now, move into the next step in the same message.
